Proof Spring Fest comes to Tallahassee March 28th

Proof Brewing has been called many things, and it is definitely a fun house for craft beer lovers. While Proof is family-friendly, a few times each year the Tallahassee craft brewery pulls out the stops and brings in the kiddie fun houses, too.

March 28th will be another one of those events–Proof’s Spring Festival.

Proof Brewing begins The Society of Liquid

Looking to offer perks of membership, Proof Brewing Company is establishing The Society of Liquid, a reserve society for the Tallahassee brewery.

Proof will begin signups for the reserve society this Saturday, December 6th. From Proof Brewing’s event page:

Becoming a member will be easy:

– Bring your state issued ID or passport. You must be 21 to sign up.

– A Proof staff member will give you your card

– Complete the online form on our website by January 2st 2015 to receive member benefits.

Proof’s Florida Tap Takeover

Proof Brewing Company, Tallahassee’s neighborly craft brewery, takes one day out of each year to give the taps over to Floridian craft breweries. This year, that day falls on September 13th, and the list is a doozy.

From Proof’s Newsletter:

On September 13th we will surrender all 50+ taps at our Tennessee Street location to the great Florida breweries. Over 20 breweries will be represented with rare and never before seen brews plus food trucks, and live music.

For just $15 a commemorative glass will be available for purchase that includes 5 tasting tokens. Beer will also be available by the glass and as samples.

Proof to pour first Railroad Square beer at glass giveaway

Proof Brewing Company announced that they began brewing on their new commercial system in their shiny new brewery in Railroad Square in Tallahassee.

In typical Proof fashion, the first beer will be tapped and poured at a glassware giveaway event. The first beer will be poured into commemorative glassware that will be given to folks at the event.

In other Proof news, the brewery is finalizing details for the All-Florida Tap Takeover event. On September 13th, Proof will give all taps over to their fellow Florida brewers.

Proof Brewing joins the crowler craze

Another piece of news from Tallahassee’s Proof Brewing Company. A bit ago, Proof announced that they are bringing their shiny new Railroad Square brewing system online. Last week, Proof announced that they are joining the crowler craze.

August 1st has come and gone, and now crowlers are in full swing at Proof. Add one to the number of Florida breweries crowlering, including Due South of Boynton Beach, Cigar City of Tampa, and Cycle Brewing of Saint Petersburg.

Proof Brewing opening Railroad Square facility in May

Proof Brewing has previously announced that they were opening a new production facility at the Railroad Square Art Park in Tallahassee. Then, the brewery told the world that they would open their doors on May 17th for a Grand Opening. Now, Proof is saying that they are opening their doors a day earlier than originally announced and moving the opening to May 16th.

Proof’s new brewery facility is located at 644 McDonnell Drive in Tallahassee.

Proof Brewing will also be featured at the Brewers Association’s food and beer pairing event, “Savor,” hosted in Washington, D.C. Proof will be bringing two ales to the nation’s capitol to celebrate the wonderful world of food and beer.

Proof Brewing’s opening date is set, distribution signed

When Proof Brewing told the beer world that they would be opening a new brewery in the Railroad Arts district of Tallahassee, the beer world began watching the development of the new place with anticipation. Well, that anticipation has come to a head as Proof gave an opening date this week: May 17th.

Proof also announced a distribution partnership:
