Rock Brothers and Hootie & the Blowfish to release Hootie’s Homegrown Ale

Rock Brothers Brewing has established a brewing company based on collaboration beers with musicians from across the country. Beginning in Bradenton with Have Gun Will Travel’s High Road Pale Ale, progressing to Jacksonville’s JJ Grey & Mofro’s Nare Sugar Brown Ale, then the newly announced beer with Kyle Hollingsworth of String Cheese Incident, now the band beer brewing brothers announce that they will brew Hootie’s Homegrown Ale with Charleston, SC’s Hootie and the Blowfish.

What’s the Florida connection? Florida’s Cigar City Brewing and South Carolina’s Palmetto Brewing will both be involved on the project. According to a recent Facebook post, the beer should be available around September or October.

Rock Brothers Brewing to can Nare Sugar Brown Ale

Rock Brothers Brewing Company, the brewery that brought High Road Pale Ale and Nare Sugar Brown Ale to the world while collaborating with musicians on recipes and flavor profiles is taking a new step into the beer world.

Hey JJ Grey fans & friends… we launch in cans March 29th at the Ales for Anglers show in Boca Raton! Beginning April 1st, we will be able to ship this beer across the country from Tampa! Stay tuned for information on how to get it!

J.J. Grey’s Nare Sugar Brown Ale launches Jacksonville

When Rock Brothers Brewing Company collaborates with a musician, they are specific with where the beer is available. The artist’s beer is usually only available with the brewery who brewed it and the artist’s home market. In the case of J.J. Grey’s Nare Sugar Brown Ale, the home market is Jacksonville and the release is today.

After pairing with Rock Brothers Brewing Company and J.J. Grey to create Nare Sugar Brown Ale, Saint Petersburg’s Green Bench Brewing Company is releasing the beer in growlers for the first time this weekend.
