JDub’s Brewing has big plans for their third anniversary

Press Release: JDub’s Brewing Company will host our 3-year anniversary at the Sarasota Fairgrounds on February 11th, 2017. Beginning at 2pm, guests will get to sample beers from Florida and Nationally renowned craft breweries. Additionally, this year’s festival is going to feature a “Pros versus Joes” theme wherein home brewers will be on site serving their creations and guests will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite beer of the day. Food samples from several different vendors are included in the General Admission (GA) ticket. Additionally, we have put together a very limited number of VIP packages which will include the opportunity to enter the festival one hour early, participate in a beer tasting lead by the Stone Brewing Company Regional Accounts Manager, participate in a Q&A with JDub’s CEO Jeremy Joerger and Cigar City CEO Joey Redner, and sample high quality Boar’s Head meats and cheeses in the special access VIP area. VIP ticket holders will also receive one bottle of our anniversary beer “Dubious 3” with their ticket and a 3rd anniversary commemorative T Shirt as well as free admission to “The after party” at JDub’s Brewing following the festival. This event will benefit the Humane Society of Sarasota County who will have adoptable dogs on hand at the festival. Please note that this is a 21 and over event.

Following the festival, JDub’s Brewing Company will host “The after party” wherein live bands will perform in the brewery biergarten from 6pm to 12pm. This year’s bands are area favorites, “SowFlo” and “The Spazmatics”

JDub’s Brewing heads to Georgia and releases a bottle

Press Release: In the near future, JDub’s beers will be available in Georgia.  JDub’s is currently interviewing distributors in the Peach State and we hope to be on shelves in stores and on draft lines soon. Recent IRI data gives us optimism for the expansion, which shows that over the past month, JDub’s is the #1 selling Florida craft brewery amongst all beers sold in Florida liquor stores. (IRI sales data snippet available upon request) Moreover, we have already built a solid relationship with Kroger that will be a focus of ours moving into the new territory.

Bell Cow Milk Chocolate Porter. JDub’s is thrilled to announce that due to a high-demand for our Nitro version of Bell Cow Milk Chocolate Porter, we have decided to discontinue production of the CO2 version in draft form and from this point forward, will only produce Nitro Bell Cow on draft. For the foreseeable future, canned Bell Cow will still be in CO2 form.

JDub’s is also releasing Imperial Breakfast Bell Cow with Coffee this weekend (November 6th) at their Brunch and Brews event at the brewery.  Bottles will be included with the event and extra bottles will go on sale to the public (limit 2 per person) at 1pm.  For more information, visit the JDub’s Brewing Facebook page.

Noon – one-hour early entry available only to Sip the Sunshine Craft Beer Festival for VIP ticket holders only

1pm – entry available to Sip the Sunshine Craft Beer Festival for General Admission ticket holders

4pm – end of Sip the Sunshine Craft Beer Festival
5pm – entry available for all Sundown Session twilight concert ticket holders

Early bird tickets: $35 – General Admission Craft Beer Festival; $100 VIP Craft Beer Festival. Limited time discounted pre-sale tickets available until 08/31/16 – when they’re gonna go up! All tickets for the Craft Beer Festival includes admission to Sundown Session.

VIP Craft Beer Festival: These tickets are very limited. They include admission to the Craft Beer Festival and the Twilight Concert. VIP guests can take advantage of early entry to the Craft Beer Festival at Noon. This means that you can access all of the Florida craft beer and the brewery representatives with no lines. There will be an exclusive VIP area — separate tent, private bathrooms, up front stage viewing area, a beer & food pairing at 1pm, unlimited water bottles, a meal ticket and an exit swag bag.

Please note, you must be at least 21 years old (with valid ID) to enter the Craft Beer Festival. All ticket sales are final – no refunds. Sip The Sunshine & Sundown Session will take place outdoors. This event will take place rain or shine.

About Sip The Sunshine:
Sip the Sunshine will feature over 50 Florida craft breweries exclusively. The event will highlight the beer, the people and the stories that make-up the craft beer community in the Sunshine State. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Beer Science Course at the University of South Florida – Sarasota Manatee’s Food & Beverage Science Program.
Sip the Sunshine craft beer festival will be followed by Sundown Session – a twilight concert.

Admission to Sip The Sunshine includes a limited-edition sample glass, a meal ticket, unlimited water bottles, and an exit bag.

JDub’s Brewing to release Sinister Monk Saturday

Jdub’s Brewing of Sarasota has been aging a Belgian stout in the darkness of their brewery for the last three months, but as of Saturday that monk will be turned loose.

Sinister Monk is a Belgian Imperial Stout that clocks in at 12.2% alcohol by volume and “will keep the drinker chasing the next flavor to be revealed,” according to the brewery’s press release. “The high alcohol content is hidden beneath complex flavors created by the Belgian yeast and dark malts used in the recipe.” Sinister Monk’s blend of malts combined with lactose, candi sugar, Huell Melon hops, and a Belgian yeast make this monastic one to contemplate for the ages.

JDub’s Brewing is located at 1215 Mango Avenue in Sarasota. Sinister Monk will be released Saturday, January 9th, 2016. The trouble begins at 8pm, and the brewery promises “it will be dark.”

Pair O Dice Brewing is now available in Sarasota

Press Release: Pair O’ Dice Brewing has announced a partnership with Gold Coast Eagle Distributing, to distribute Pair O’ Dice beers throughout Manatee and Sarasota counties. The agreement brings Pair O’ Dice Brewing’s West Coast style IPAs and locally inspired ales south of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge for the first time.

“We’ve been building our brand for two years in our home market of Pinellas and Hillsborough to ensure that we have the capacity to meet demand,” said Pair O’ Dice Brewing Co-founder Julia Rosenthal. “We’re excited to be able to expand south and bring Pair O’ Dice to Manatee and Sarasota residents with Gold Coast Eagle Distributing as our partner.”

Pair O’ Dice Brewing is known for its award-winning balanced IPAs and ales brewed with local ingredients. These beers frequently rely on the use of difficult to source hops and fresh ingredients grown exclusively in Florida, such as strawberries from Plant City and orange blossom honey from Haines City.

“At Pair O’ Dice Brewing, we make the beers that we like to drink. We don’t make beers that fit into a specific beer category,” explained Pair O’ Dice Brewing’s Head Brewer and Co-founder Ken Rosenthal II. “Our flagship IPA is the Hop Bet Red IPA. We’ve never been able to enter it into a competition because until this year there wasn’t a competitive beer category that it fit in. We just focus on making the beers that we enjoy consistently and with the highest quality possible.” Gold Coast Eagle Distributing is a Sarasota-based distributor of craft beer and AB/InBev.

Pair O’ Dice Brewing joins the distributor’s already strong lineup of local craft beers, including Big Top Brewing, Darwin Brewing, and Motorworks Brewing.

Pair O’ Dice Brewing will be distributing their lineup of Core, Seasonal, and limited quantities of their Hop Streak Series beers. The initial lineup will include their Clearwater Honey Cream, Hop Bet Red IPA, Little Joe Stout, Cascade Amber, and Monster Roll IPA.

JDub’s Brewing to celebrate Oktoberliner Fest 2015

On October 24th and 25th, JDub’s Brewing Company will host a two-day “Oktoberliner Fest” at the brewery. On Saturday and Sunday, from 2pm-6pm, 20 varieties of Berliner Weiss styles will be available in 6oz serving glasses. The cost per pour is $3.50,10 tickets for $30 or unlimited pours throughout the weekend for $75. Various styles of German beers will also be available for purchase in our taproom. Jeremy Joerger, Founder/ CEO of JDub’s Brewing Company and self proclaimed “desk weenie” says, “I lived in Germany for 6 years and loved Oktoberfest season. Now that I have a brewery, I get to create an event that mimics the spirit of the German Oktoberfest and put an individualistic ‘JDub’s spin’ on it”

* German Oktoberfest music will be played in the taproom and during the event. Lots of it. Traditional and silly Oktoberfest garb is strongly encouraged.

JDub’s Brewing to release “American Wild” barleywine

On August 22nd, at 1pm JDub’s Brewing Company will release approximately 250 bottles of the much anticipated and extremely limited, “American Wild” Barley Wine. This beer was aged in a George Dickel barrel for 6 months that was hand-selected at the distillery in Tullahoma, TN by Bern’s Steakhouse wine experts and initially used by the brewery to age “Legacy 3”, an Imperial Porter made exclusively for Bern’s. To really make the Barley Wine
funky, a touch of Brettanomyces was added, along with a generous amount of puréed cherries. The beer will be sold in 500ml bottles. Price per bottle is $17.00 and will be on a first come, first serve basis. Follow our social media pages for details. No more than 4 bottles per person.
