Sideward Brewing’s monthly can drop is coming December 19th

One of Orlando’s newest breweries, Sideward Brewing, has been very busy since opening.  These industry veterans have been collaborating on beers with Tampa’s Late Start Brewery, and Orlando’s Ten10 Brewing, among others.  Sideward has been releasing beers in 4-packs of 16oz cans little by little since they launched.

Sideward does not seem to like to release one canned beer at a time – most of the brewery’s beers have gone out in release events where multiple canned beers are on the menu.  In fact, this Thursday, December 19th marks another can release, and another multiple beer release extravaganza.  Three Sideward beers will go out into the world via the brewery’s tasting room – multiple beers, multiple styles.

From Sideward Brewing:

THURSDAY DECEMBER 19TH

The following beers will be vailable on tap & in 4 packs:

× BRACE FACE – 4.3% – berliner weisse w/ boysenberry, blackberry & passionfruit

× PINEAPPLE BOOTS – 7% – your favorite IPA now with pineapple!

× SKULL TATTOO – 7.5% – Hazy IPA feat. Motueka

About Sideward Brewing
Sideward Brewing is a family-owned brewery, taproom, and kitchen in the heart of Orlando. Our three Co-Founders — Garrett, Mandy, and Austin — grew up here and are extremely excited about leveraging their experiences to help Orlando with its transition into a craft beer destination.

We spent a lot of time and money renovating a 100-year-old warehouse so you could come drink our beer 50 feet from where it was made. The beer changes constantly, there’s a full kitchen serving house-made everything, and a covered outdoor seating area to kick your feet up on.

Brand New Brewery, Taproom, and Kitchen in Downtown Orlando’s Milk District

Sideward Brewing Company is a new brewery, taproom, and kitchen coming to downtown Orlando’s booming Milk District in March 2019. The Sideward team will serve inventive beer, cider, cold brew, and more in a 100 year old warehouse. As Head Brewer Garrett Ward puts it, “We’re gathering some old, some new, and some out of the ordinary ideas we think will really surprise our local beer drinkers. But in a good way.”

No newcomers to Orlando or the craft beer scene, the industry veterans have big goals: to help make Orlando a nationally-recognized craft beer destination. No small feat.

The Sideward Team is:

Garrett Ward – Head Brewer
Garrett is known for his signature King Diamond hat, as well as making some of Orlando’s best beer, creating award-winning recipes at both Red Cypress Brewery and Cask and Larder.

Mandy Protheroe – General Manager & Co-Founder
A former territory sales manager for Coppertail Brewery, she initially climbed the craft- beer ladder while at the world-renowned Redlight Redlight, where she enjoyed many years as bar manager.

Austin Ward – Manager & Co-Founder
Austin is best known for his many years in the service industries in Yosemite National Park and The Biltmore in Asheville, N.C. He’s returned home to Orlando to bring the highest level of genuine and skillful customer service.

Recipe development remains a fiercely kept secret, but subscribe to the newsletter at SidewardBrewing.com for a chance to encounter one of the few kegs that makes its way out into the sunshine.
