Cigar City to do away with pint glasses

The Cigar City Tasting Room and Beer Shrine has had branded glassware since they opened almost five years ago. Now, a source close to the brewery says that Cigar City will be doing away with the shaker pint in favor of Spieglau proper glassware.

The shaker pint glass has long been the standard of the beer-drinking world, but it does not give all the aromatics and nuances that every beer has to offer. Cigar City will now switch to the Spieglau lager glass, snifter/ tulip, and the IPA glass exclusively for beers served in their tasting room.

No word on how long the switch will take to implement, but the decision has been made.

LauderAle is located at 3305 Southeast 14th Avenue Building 4 in Fort Lauderdale.
