Two Henrys cans two beers and hosts Biertoberfest

Two Henrys Brewing Company, the sister operation to the Keel and Curley Winery, has brought Plant City a new milestone: the first hometown canned beer.

Starting this week, Two Henrys is canning 7 Mile IPA and Gilded Age Lager.

From Two Henrys:

Yesterday 7 Mile IPA… Today Gilded Age Golden Lager. Ask for them starting next week at your local retailer or get them at our Biertober Festival on 10/25!

Two Henrys will also celebrate Biertoberfest on October 25th to celebrate one of the most wonderful times of the year in Florida. This year’s festivities will feature “15 beers, 5 ciders, and 20 wines for just $25. Guests will receive a 5oz. take-home beer glass to sample as much as you like.”

The festival will also feature rarities like:

Whiskey Barrel Stout
Blueberry Jalapeno Porter
Coconut Brown Ale
Pumkin Spice Snowbird
Blueberry Vanilla Ale
and many more
Look for these rare ciders in addition to our normal offerings:

Strawberry Fields Cider
Oak Aged Cider
and many more

Biertoberfest will take place at Two Henrys Brewery, located at 5210 Thonotosassa Road in Plant City. The event will run from noon until 4pm on Saturday, October 25th. For more information, see Two Henrys events page.

Two Henrys and Three Palms Brewing collaborate

What happens when Two Henrys meet Three Palms? That sounds like a difficult algebra problem, but in terms of beer, when these two neophyte breweries combine forces the outcome will be peach Berliner weisse.

Both breweries took to Facebook to announce the collaboration with no information released yet on when the finished beer would be available.

Two Henrys Brewing signs for distribution

Two Henrys Brewing Company of Plant City, the craft brewery on the same premises as Keel and Curley Winery, has signed for distribution with J.J. Taylor.

From J.J. Taylor:

The first two core brands that J.J. Taylor will selectively introduce to market will be:

> Two Henry’s 7 Mile Bridge IPA, 6% ABV
> Two Henry’s The Gilded Age Golden Lager, 4.5% ABV

Look for Two Henry’s Brewing Co. beers to first begin appearing on draft in the bars and restaurants of Hillsborough, Pasco & Pinellas counties.

Two Henrys Brewing Company to open in Plant City

The Two Henrys Brewing Company will have the ephemeral title of Florida’s newest craft brewery as of October 19th.

The brewery will be housed on 25 acres in Plant City, and will be run by the same folks who run Keel and Curley Winery. The name, Two Henrys, is a nod to two of the gentlemen who helped build the railroads of Florida: Henry Flagler and Henry Plant. Since the original two Henrys were known for their railroads, trains, and innovation, the brewery will feature a railroad theme and work to raise craft beer awareness in the Plant City area.

Two Henrys will be brewing on a 7-barrel brewing system and will have several beers on draft for opening day, including:

*The 8th Wonder- a 7%, Simcoe-heavy IPA
*Two lagers
*Pale Ale
*Brown Ale
*A Dark IPA
*Several Stouts

The October 19th Grand Opening will take place from 10am until 10pm and while admission is free, there will be a parking charge. The celebration will have music, a homebrew expo and competition, and a cornhole tournament. There is also a Groupon for this event on Groupon.com.

The brewery hopes to make this an annual event.
