Uinta Brewing Company launches Golden Ale Rotating Park Series

Press Release: Uinta Brewing Company announces the release of Golden Ale, a rotating park series brewed in celebration of the diverse landscapes across the United States and the over 84 million acres of natural beauty that our National Park system promotes and protects.

Brewed with Carapils and Crystal malts and a moderate addition of Willamette and Sterling hops, Uinta’s Golden Ale is approachable and refreshing with an ABV of 5.3%. While the beer inside the can will remain the same, the outer packaging will feature a rotating line-up of National Parks.

Uinta, a brand powered by outdoor adventure, has aspired to brewing a beer in honor of the parks for several years. “Many of the explorations that have inspired our beers have happened in and around National Parks and we’re excited to pay homage to that with this rotating series,” says Uinta’s Chief Executive Officer, Steve Mills. “We’re fortunate to have five National Parks within 5 hours of the brewery and hope that our Golden Ale encourages consumers to get out and explore those that surround them.”

Uinta partnered with the Anderson Design Group out of Nashville, Tennessee to create iconic park illustrations for this collector’s series. Currently, Uinta has the following parks slated for release in 2017: Yosemite, Yellowstone, Arches, Great Smoky Mountains, Acadia, Grand Canyon, Rocky Mountain and Everglades.

Golden Ale Park Series will be available in six-pack cans and on draught starting February 2017.  The beer will be distributed across Uinta’s 37-State distribution footprint.

Uinta Brewing is sending Tangerine Hop Nosh to Florida

Press Release: Uinta Brewing Company takes a fresh approach to their signature IPA, Hop Nosh, introducing a Tangerine variant of the product. Uinta’s new seasonal twist on their top-selling product, Hop Nosh Tangerine IPA, is brewed with real tangerine juice adding a tartness that compliments the notable tropical hop characteristics of the classic Hop Nosh.

“The R&D process for this product was a fun one” said Isaac Winter, Head Brewer of Research and Development at Uinta. “We played with several fruit variants ultimately landing on tangerine as the citrus flavors and aroma was harmonious with the natural characteristics of the new-world hop varietals used in this product. This beer is refreshing and tart, yet still boasts hop bitterness expected from an IPA.”

Available in both a 12oz Can and Uinta’s signature Compass Bottle, Hop Nosh Tangerine IPA is scheduled to hit Uinta’s distribution footprint in mid April, 2016.

Cans of Uinta Trader Session IPA coming to Florida

Press Release:

Uinta Cans Trader Session IPA

First brewed and released as a draught only brand in 1994, Uinta Brewing Company’s Trader IPA was a trailblazer in the Session IPA category, a category that, at the time, was far from a trend. In 1996, Uinta purchased their first bottling line and Trader made its way in to a bottle and on to retail shelves across Utah.
Twenty years later, the Trader brand continues to be a successful brand for Uinta. To continue their history of keeping Trader’s packaging relevant to their offerings, Uinta introduces Trader Session IPA Cans. Trader Compass Cans are expected to hit all of Uinta’s current distribution networks in June, 2014.
A beer that exemplifies the term ‘session’, Trader is a noted for its bright hop character and balance. In a time where Session beers, and Session IPA’s in particular, are becoming a popular segment in the craft industry, Uinta is excited to celebrate and expand distribution of Trader a brand that showcases Uinta’s 21 years of experience in brewing consistent, full-flavored session (and non-session) beers.

About Tinder, from Uinta Press Release:

Uinta Brewing Company introduces Tinder Rauchbier, the newest limited addition brew to their Crooked Line.

Inspired by Owner Will Hamill and Headbrewer Kevin Ely’s recent trip to Germany to inspect new brewhouse equipment, Tinder is a German-style Rauchbier (Smoked Beer) that kindles moderate malty sweetness and robust smokiness. Brewed with Bamberg beechwood-smoked malt, this medium-bodied lager ignites distinct campfire smoke flavors and aroma.

Aromatic, bright and balanced, Tinder is bottle conditioned and has an ABV of 6.5%. Scheduled to hit select shelves in late January, Tinder is a limited release beer, only 180bbls were brewed.

Keeping with Uinta’s Crooked Line tradition of supporting local art talent, Tinder’s label art was produced by Leia Bell, a local print artist. Leia was also the artist for Uinta’s Tilted Smile and Sea Legs labels.
