In the midst of a January that has already seen one Florida brewery close, South Florida’s Twisted Trunk Brewing has posted a letter to their community on Facebook. Based in Palm Beach Gardens, the brewery has announced that the cost of doing business at their location on PGA Boulevard has forced them to relocate and find another home.
From Twisted Trunk Brewing:
“Hello Friends-
The cost of doing business on PGA Boulevard has pushed us to close our legendary home in the Gardens. We are in search of an alternate location.
Locals do not fret, the iconic IPGA and Palm Beach Pilsner will be continued to be brewed and distributed throughout the county, in the highest quality, by Tequesta Brewing Company.
This decision is the hardest of a lifetime. The sheer level of laughter and humanity shared over the decade has been life changing for all of us at Twisted Trunk Family.
We truly love the love.
Thank you Trunk Nation.
We will be open through the weekend and partially next week. Please keep an eye on our social media for updates.”
About Twisted Trunk Brewing
At Twisted Trunk we are more than beer, we are a community.
Continuing with their commitment to create excellent pints served by exceptional people, the successful brewers of Tequesta Brewing Co. founded Twisted Trunk in 2015, in beautiful Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The Banyan trees scattered throughout the city gave inspiration for the brewery’s name.
The spacious taproom features a bar created from 100 year-old elm wood, lounge areas for group gatherings, flat screen TV’s, views into the brewery, and historic photos of the city. Outdoor seating is also available. The 25bbl brewhouse churns out flagship beers Lucky Langer Lager, IPGA IPA, and Rasta Stout, as well as a long list of rotating specialties.
