The list of locations for Zwanze Day 2016 has been posted by Brasserie Cantillon of Brussels and it has a few surprises.
Press Release: In response to demand for their canned beer in areas outside of their current markets, Swamp Head Brewery announced today that they will begin distributing cans of Wild Night Honey Cream Ale, Stump Knocker Pale Ale and Big Nose IPA to new areas starting in the first weeks of August.
IPA is a day to celebrate. It is not a Hallmark holiday designed by breweries to sell more IPA. IPA is the GABF Category with the most entries, it doesn’t really need any help. Instead, IPA Day is a chance to break out and try something hoppy and see what happens when brewers start to paint with these green flowers.
Press Release: Craft brewers are still growing, according to new mid-year data released by the Brewers Association (BA)—the not-for-profit trade association dedicated to small and independent American brewers. American craft beer production volume increased eight percent during the first half of the year.
Update: 2:15pm 22 July: Florida Beer Company President and CEO James Webb has reached out to Florida Beer News promising “a proper release soon.” No other information was offered. It is worth noting however, that Webb’s email signature read “Florida Beer Comapny ANSA MCAL Group.” ANSA MCAL Group is the parent company of Carib Brewery.

Starting at noon, lovers of independent, craft beer are invited to bring in an unopened beer from one of the giant industrial breweries to the Coppertail tap room, and have it swapped out for a fresh, locally brewed 12 oz bottle of Independent Pilsner.
