Tampa- Either one of two events is now probable: scenario 1 is that Cigar City Brewing is pressing hard to reach 60,000 barrels of fermentation capacity, or scenario 2 is that the Tampa brewery is breeding an army of robots disguised as fermenters. In either case, the brewery has three new recruits on route to Tampa from Portland.
Today Beerpulse.com posted the newly approved label for Cigar City and New Belgium Brewing’s collaboration beer. According to the label description:

Tampa- Fresh off the heels of releasing their collaboration beer with Portland, Oregon’s Widmer Brothers Brewing (called The Gentleman’s Club), Tampa’s Cigar City Brewing has announced that they are not slowing down on the collaboration beers. Two more major collaborations have been announced this week, as Cigar City works with two national breweries that helped define craft beer: Chico, California’s Sierra Nevada Brewing Company and Fort Collins, Colorado’s New Belgium Brewing Company.
Tampa- Tomorrow is the day that hundreds of Floridians were planning on to sign up for Cigar City Brewing’s Reserve Society, El Catador Club. Alarm clocks were set and many folks were hoping to be in line long before the 5pm selling start. Then the clock struck 9pm on Saturday evening.
The announcement a few days ago that Cigar City Cider and Mead will be collaborating with Cigar City’s Brewpub brought questions about what liquid offspring will emerge from the minds of these two savants.
