Dry Wrought Cider opens new Gainesville tasting room

While Gainesville’s beer and breweries have been growing slowly but surely, recently Gainesville’s cidery has taken a major step forward by opening a tasting room.
This according to an article from The Gainesville Sun:

Gainesville's Dry Wrought Cider LogoThe Dry Wrought Tasting Room opened November 20th, 2023 and features four ciders on tap (with plans to add two more) and a cooler full of Florida craft beer options for patrons to choose from. Dry Wrought’s portfolio of ciders includes flavors like Mulled Cider, Orange Zrst Cider, Hops Cider, Strawberry Cider, and Jalapeño Cider.

Dry Wrought Cider’s Tasting Room is located at 409 SW 4th Avenue in Gainesville. The facility is just off of the 4th Avenue Food Park next to Baker Baker, Opus Coffee, and Fehrenbacher’s Artisan Sausage Company.

Dry Wrought Cider started in 2021 when co-owners and head brewers Ben Stone and Dale Tanner combined forces to bring this growing beverage to Gainesville. The new tasting room is the latest from the cider who aim to make the space the “cafeteria of the food park,” according to Tiffany WatersStone, wife of Ben Stone and owner of BFD Sales and Service, DryWrought’s current distributor.

Dry Wrought Cider’s tap room is open Monday and Tuesday from 5 to 10 p.m., Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Can’t make it to Dry Wrought Cider’s Tasting Room? According to the cidery’s website, their cider is currently distributed to 47 locations around north Florida. See the list of distributed locations on the Dry Wrought’s website.
