Funky Buddha Brewery of Oakland Park has come a long way since the original release of Maple Bacon Coffee Porter in the friendly confines of the Funky Buddha Lounge and Brewery in Boca Raton. In 2016, the brewery will share the release with a few thousand of their closest friends and will invite everyone to a day of jovial revelry in the park adjacent to the brewery.

It’s back! South Florida’s most sought after annual release, Maple Bacon Coffee Porter, returns in bottles on January 9, 2016!

Maple Bacon Coffee Porter Day will be an epic celebration and continued enhancement of Funky Buddha’s annual street festival. This year’s fest will take place in spacious Jaco Pastorius Park in Oakland Park, Florida and be limited to 4000 attendees. All ticketed attendees are guaranteed bottles of the once-a-year release of Maple Bacon Coffee Porter, which are picked up upon exit from the festival grounds. There’s no need to wait in line for bottles or purchase them on site – just come out enjoy over 100 unique beers on draft throughout the day, live music by Brotherly Love Productions, field games, the best food trucks in South Florida plus Craft Food Counter & Kitchen, and so much more! Fort Lauderdale’s biggest and baddest beer event is back!

This year’s MBCP Day will include a hangover brunch on Sunday at Funky Buddha Brewery and will include a “SIX COURSE paired brunch led by Head Chef Jeff Vincent and Brand Ambassador Adrian Morales and feature some epic beers from MBCP Day including The Love Below, our cabernet and bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout with cocoa and cherries, Heaven Hill barrel-aged French Toast Double Brown, and Maple Bacon itself!” Tickets to the brunch are available here.
