Press Release: 3 Daughters Brewing unveils its annual North Pole Christmas Village, a celebrated winter wonderland.
One of St. Petersburg’s largest and most beloved holiday spectacles is coming to town.
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. —3 Daughters Brewing is officially unveiling its annual Christmas Village this Friday, December 1, a stunning display of thousands of pieces creating a winter wonderland inside their main warehouse.
The Christmas Village is a cherished annual tradition at 3 Daughters Brewing. Bruce Harting, the grandfather of the actual three daughters, meticulously designs and assembles the village every holiday season – a process that begins as early as August, as the entire display takes months to create. Even once the village is complete, Harting can be seen every morning tending to each portion of the immersive display.
The Christmas Village is free to experience, and just like the brewery, it is family-friendly and open to all ages. The Tasting Room opens at 11:30 am every day, located at 222 22nd Street South in St. Petersburg. The Christmas Village features six trains and nearly 100 animated features, and it is on display daily, now through the first week of January.
“It truly amazing to see how many people come to the brewery every year to see the Christmas Village,” 3 Daughters Brewing Owner and CEO Mike Harting said. “We love having a piece of our family on display, and it not only represents that we’re a family-run operation, but also how much my father and all of us here genuinely enjoy spreading happiness.”
3 Daughters Brewing celebrates its heroes every day, and the man behind the Christmas Village fits the definition. LTC (Ret) Bruce Harting – the grandfather of the 3 Daughters – served in Vietnam, where he earned a Purple Heart for his service. There are three flags hanging inside the brewery in his honor. He and the Harting family have been collecting Christmas Village pieces for over 40 years.
