While Florida is still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, despite the governor reopening businesses at 100% capacity, it seems that more closures are in store.
Four Stacks Brewing of Apollo Beach posted news of their impending closure on December 28th.

Monument Brewing CompanyThis was the vision we set out with 5 years ago, the idea being to bring the gift of craft beer to a community that had none; to create a monument to beer.We didn’t do it for the money. We didn’t do it for the fame. Lord knows there’s really none of either.We did it for one simple reason…we loved beer and wanted to share that love with the collective Southshore communities.Over the past 5 years, we did our very best to achieve that, giving every ounce of time, energy, and passion that we could muster.We made some incredible friends and memories along the way, and it just so happens that we learned a lot too.One of the hardest lessons of all was the lesson of when to throw in the towel.When you’re building a business, you sometimes have to give up family time, or a family dime, in order to continue sewing seeds you hope will eventually harvest.In our case, we sewed for 4 years only to run smack dab into a forced closure, and after that, the business we needed to survive just never came back.We honestly tried everything we could think of to keep people coming back to Four Stacks over the past several months, but unfortunately, it just wasn’t enough.Therefore, we’ve made the difficult decision to close permanently, effective January 10th, 2021.We hate letting our team down and wish we had a way to continue, but we are taking this opportunity to start the new year off with a dedication to our children, family, and future business endeavors.We know that two weeks is a short window of time, but would really appreciate it if you’d stop in and get that last pint from our awesome staff, and a fill of your favorite Four Stacks beer.Please tip them well, as they too have had very little time to adjust to this news.Lastly, if you are looking for a stellar bartender or manager, please reach out.
