Brandenton’s Motorworks Brewing has been the subject of many posts on Florida Beer News. They have won state and national medals; they have had national acts tour their beer garden; they have donated thousands of dollars to charity and helped hundreds of shelter dogs get adopted. But today, after a closure and reported near foreclosure, the brewery has slated to reopen with a new owner and a new manager.

Recently, Motorworks Brewing has been in the news for unpaid debts, rent, and a served foreclosure notice from Seacoast National Bank. Then, in a surprise social media post shortly after the brewery’s troubles became public, the brewery announced, “We are happy to share that we are now current with the bank and working closely together to resolve the matter going forward.”

A development posted by The Bradenton Herald stated that the new owner of Motorworks Brewing is 941 Investments, LLC. 941 Investments is an LLC formed by former Representative and Secretary of Business and Professional Regulation Halsey Beshears.
